The current goal of the game is to find matching sets of shadows and activate them. Activating all shadows in a set will uncover hidden secrets. There are currently 4 sets of shadows, 1 for each light direction. Right now, the secrets are fairly anticlimactic with more planned for the future. There is one surprise to look forward to at the end of the current game though.
Since, as it stands, there's a lack of information about what is going on within the game, I want to give a brief explanation about what to look for and how to progress. The shadows that can be activated are specific shapes that belong to a group. So, if a shadow is in the shape of a triangle, it is a part of a group of triangle shadows. The shadows in this group are positioned so that they make up that same shape. So, there are 3 triangle shadows that make up one larger triangle, and if you click all 3 of them, something will happen. Once you activate a shadow, any input other than mouse movement or clicking on other shadows in the same group will deactivate all shadows. So the idea is you want to find a position where you can see all shadows in the group, and then click on them without moving. This is not very difficult once you know what to do, but the lack of visual and audio cues is problematic.
Eventually, I want to change basically everything about how the puzzles work to highlight more interesting aspects of perspective. I have a lot of ideas about what to add, but this is just what I could manage in 2 weeks, so some of it is kind of hacked together.
Thanks for checking it out!
